Banksy is Art

1. I believe that Banksy is a true definition of an artist. He's an artist because he expresses his mind through his paintings without the rules or having others clouding his imagination. The places he expresses these epiphonies might not be the greatest but it's proving a point that could not be better explained in any other location.

2.If Banksy was a politician he might have chosen a different alternative to express his thoughts which could lead to grafitti if it was a biased statement. But since his artwork seems to be neutral, I believe all he wants is a neutral reaction. Grafitti artists want a very negative of very positive reaction, not the equilibrium.

3. I don't believe it's important to express one's art in public, but it could be essential if the artist's creation was created for a purpose.

  1. I completely agree. Art is what people see it as. It's a very visual media and it has to be displayed in public to make a statement.
